Alzain Mohamed Ahmed is a renowned Sudanese Quran reciter, born in July 1982 in a small village near Omrawaba in the northern Kordofan region of Sudan. From a very young age, he showed a deep love for the Quran and a exceptional ability to memorize it. His Quranic journey began under the guidance of Sheikh Dardiri in the Khursi area, located about 12 kilometers from his hometown.

After completing his memorization, he pursued higher Islamic studies and graduated from Al-Azhar University in September 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Quranic and Islamic studies, further strengthening his scholarly foundation.

He is known for his powerful baritone voice, which blends depth, clarity, and emotional resonance. His recitation style reflects the beautiful Sudanese tradition of Quranic reading and carries the influence of legendary reciters such as Sheikh Awad Omar, Sheikh Ahmed Hamdoun, and Sheikh Abdul Latif Al Awad. Many describe his voice as one that “touches the soul before the mind,” capturing both the spiritual and emotional essence of the Quran.

Currently, he serves as an Imam at Saida Nahory Mosque in Khartoum City, where his heartfelt recitations inspire worshippers and strengthen their connection to the divine words of Allah.
