Anas Bin Issa Al Emadi is a respected Quran reciter and Imam from Bahrain, born in 1983 (1403 AH). He is widely known for his precise recitation style and deep commitment to Quranic education. His journey with the Quran began at the young age of 5, when he enrolled in the Abdullah Bin Saud Centre for Quran Memorization in Al Hadd, Bahrain. From the start, He was surrounded by Islamic scholars who helped shape his path. He studied under the guidance of esteemed teachers like Sheikh Abdul Halim Mahmoud Al Qari’a, Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullah Al Mannai, and Sheikh Adel Zaman. His dedication led him to pursue further education at the Religious Institute in Bahrain, where he graduated with excellence. Anas Alemadi then moved to the United Arab Emirates to complete a degree in Islamic Shari’a at the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. There, he gained in-depth knowledge of Quranic readings (Qira’at) and received certification in the Hafs ‘an Asim recitation method by Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Shakroun from Algeria. One of the most notable milestones in his journey was receiving an official Ijazah from the renowned Alexandrian Quran reciter Sheikha Oum Al Saad Ali Najm, may Allah have mercy on her. She certified him in both Hafs and Shu’bah ‘an Asim recitations according to the famous methods of Al-Shatibiyyah and Al-Tayyibah. In addition to mastering his own recitation, he has helped train and influence many well-known scholars and Imams, including Sheikh Ali Al Hodaifi, Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub, and Sheikh Ibrahim Al Akhdar. He continues to participate in Quranic and Islamic educational programs in Bahrain. As an Imam, he has led prayers at Ali Bin Jabr Al Thani Mosque in Al Hadd. He also represented Bahrain in numerous Quran competitions, achieving top ranks — including:
- 1st place in the Great Bahrain Holy Quran Competition (2003)
- 5th place in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (2003)
- 4th place in the International Iranian Quran Memorization Competition (2008)
