Anas Alemadi, also known as Anas Bin Issa Al-Emadi, is a renowned Bahraini Quran reciter and Imam, known for his exceptional talent, serene voice, and deep mastery of Tajweed. Born in 1983 (1403 AH) in Bahrain, he grew up in a religious environment that nurtured his love for the Holy Quran from an early age. His spiritual journey began at the age of five when he joined the Abdullah Bin Saud Centre for Quran Memorization in Al-Hadd, Bahrain, a place that became the foundation of his lifelong devotion to Quranic studies.

Throughout his early education, he studied under several distinguished scholars, including Sheikh Abdul Halim Mahmoud Al-Qari’a, Sheikh Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Mannai, and Sheikh Adel Zaman. Their guidance helped him develop a strong command of recitation and a deep understanding of the Quran’s linguistic beauty and spiritual depth.

After completing his secondary education at the Religious Institute in Bahrain with distinction, he pursued higher studies in the United Arab Emirates, earning a degree in Islamic Shari’a from the Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies. During this period, he received specialized training in the science of the Ten Qira’at (Quranic readings) and was officially certified in the Hafs ‘an Asim recitation by Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Shakroun of Algeria.

His academic achievements were further recognized by the legendary Alexandrian Quran scholar Sheikha Oum Al-Saad Ali Najm (may Allah have mercy on her), who awarded him Ijazah (certification) in both Hafs and Shu‘bah ‘an Asim recitations according to the methods of Al-Shatibiyyah and Al-Tayyibah. This recognition placed him among the respected voices of authentic Quranic tradition.

With a passion for teaching and spreading Quranic knowledge, he has trained and influenced several prominent Imams and reciters, including Sheikh Ali Al-Hodaifi, Sheikh Muhammad Ayoub, and Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar. His continued participation in Quranic gatherings and educational programs reflects his dedication to nurturing future generations of Quran scholars.

As an Imam, he serves at the Ali Bin Jabr Al Thani Mosque in Al-Hadd, Bahrain, where his heartfelt recitation draws worshippers from across the region. Beyond his local role, he has proudly represented Bahrain in international Quran competitions, achieving remarkable results, including first place in the Great Bahrain Holy Quran Competition (2003), fifth place in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (2003), and fourth place in the International Iranian Quran Memorization Competition (2008).

Anas Bin Issa Al-Emadi continues to shine among a new generation of reciters whose voices bring peace and reflection to listeners worldwide.
