Karim Mansouri is a well-known Quran reciter from Iran, admired for his deep, soulful voice that brings emotion and clarity to the recitation of the Holy Quran. He follows the Hafs style of recitation and is recognized as one of the most powerful and spiritually moving Quran readers in the world. He was born in Abadan, Iran, in 1968 (1347 AH). From a young age, Karim showed a strong interest in the Quran. He began attending Quranic classes in 1980 (1359 AH), and within just 11 months, he memorized the entire Quran – a remarkable achievement that reflects his dedication and talent. During a visit to Egypt, he received an official Ijazah (certification) in Quran recitation from the Egyptian Quran Reciters’ Assembly, further strengthening his credibility as a master of recitation. Today, he serves in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, continuing his mission of sharing the message of the Quran. He has participated in many national and international Quranic events, where he earned first place in several competitions. One of his notable appearances was at the opening ceremony of the Islamic World Conference in Iran in 1997, where he recited verses from the Quran with great reverence. He is also known for his recitation of the opening verses of Surah Yusuf, featured in the famous Iranian TV series “Yusuf Al-Siddiq”. His unique voice added emotional depth to the series and introduced his recitation style to a wider audience. Karim Mansouri has traveled to many countries, including Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Syria, to participate in Quranic gatherings, always leaving a strong impression with his heartfelt and humble recitations.
