Sheikh Salah Bukhatir is a well-known Quran reciter from the United Arab Emirates, born in Sharjah to a family with a strong interest in Islamic studies and business. He received his early education in Sharjah and then continued his studies in the United States, where he completed his university education in science. During this time, he memorized the Quran and perfected his recitation. Sheikh Salah is the brother of Ahmed Bukhatir, a famous Islamic nasheed singer. He inherited his love for the Quran from his grandfather and became a businessman like his father, heading the Bukhatir Group for trade and investments. Despite his busy career, Sheikh Salah has recorded the entire Quran with his voice and is passionate about leading Taraweeh prayers at Sheikh Saud Al Qasimi Mosque in Sharjah. Salah Bukhatir is known for his beautiful recitation, which is admired for its clarity and emotional depth, similar to the famous reciter Sheikh Sudais. He is currently serving as an imam at Sheikh Saoud Al Qassimi Mosque and has also led prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
