Sheikh Abdallah Ali Jaber was a renowned Quran reciter and imam from Saudi Arabia. Born in Jeddah in 1953, he moved to Medina, where he memorized the Quran and studied Islamic Sharia, following his father’s wishes. He attended Sharia schools and later joined the Faculty of Sharia at the Islamic University of Medina. He continued his education at the High Judiciary Institute in Riyadh, earning a master’s degree. Despite an offer to work as a judge, he chose to devote his life to the Quran and his role as an imam. His dedication impressed King Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz, who appointed him as the imam of Masjid Al-Haram in 1981. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2005 due to complications from surgery.
