Fares Abbad is a renowned Quran reciter from Yemen, born on April 12, 1980, in Sanaa. His passion for the Quran began at a young age, and he was taught by Sheikh Fadl Morad to master the art of reciting. He was inspired by famous reciters such as Abdul Basit and Mohamed Al Mohisni. He started his journey as an imam of Tarawih prayers at Bilal Ibn Rabah Mosque in 1994 and continued in that role for seven years. In 2004, he became the imam of Sheikh Abdel Razek Afifi Mosque in Riyadh. He also led prayers at Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in Eastern Saudi Arabia before moving to Ajman, UAE, where he currently resides. Fares gained recognition for his audio recordings, including a full Quran recitation in 2003, funded by Qadisiya Records. His beautiful voice can be heard on Almajd Channel TV.
