Aziz Alili is a renowned Quran reciter, born on May 29, 1968, in Lipkovo, Kumanovo, Macedonia. He began his Islamic education at Gazi Husrev-beg Madrasa in Sarajevo, where he later served as a muezzin at Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque from 1984 to 1986. He further advanced his Quranic studies in Makkah at the Erkam bin Erkam Institute under Sheikh Abdul Abdeddaim Settir Al-Maghribiya, earning an Ijazah in the ten Qira’at (modes of Quranic recitation). He is also recognized for his soulful Nasheeds and has recorded 14 albums and three audio and video cassettes. Since 1995, he has been serving as an Imam and Khatib at the Majlis Islamske Zajednice in Zagreb, Croatia. Alongside his spiritual contributions, he has guided students in Quranic recitation at Dr. Ahmed Smajlovic Madrasa. Aziz Alili is married to Lamia Jukic and is blessed with four children: Amin, Ahmed, Ali, and Kerim. His deep knowledge of Quranic sciences, beautiful voice, and dedication to serving the Muslim community make him a respected figure in Islamic circles globally.
