Hatem Fareed Alwaer is a well-known Imam and Quranic reciter from Alexandria, Egypt. At just thirty years old, he gained significant popularity due to his heartfelt Quranic recitations and the sweetness of his voice. His talent has made him one of the most prominent Imams in Alexandria. Born in the village of Tabloh in the Al Manufia governorate, he was raised by his father, an Imam and Quranic teacher, who helped him memorize the Holy Quran from a young age. His dedication to the Quran continued as he moved to Cairo to pursue his university studies at the Al Tarbiya faculty of Al Azhar University. While studying, he also worked at a mosque. After completing his studies, he moved to Alexandria to continue his education and eventually devoted himself fully to the Imamate and Quranic advocacy. He currently serves as an Imam at the Al Qaid Ibrahim mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, and also as an Imam and preacher at the Bilal Bin Rabah mosque.
