He was born on January 1, 1963, in Essaouira, a Moroccan province, and later moved to Casablanca, where he completed the memorization of the Quran. In recognition of his achievement, he received a certification from Casablanca’s Scientific Council in October 1992. In addition to his expertise in Quranic recitation, he earned a degree in Islamic Studies, further strengthening his knowledge of the Quran and its sciences. He has spent over 20 years teaching the Quran, specializing in Tajweed and Quranic recitation. His teaching style is focused on making Quran memorization accessible to everyone, regardless of age or location. One of his most significant contributions is the “Learn the Quran in Your Home” initiative, designed to help individuals memorize the Quran easily, especially those who cannot regularly attend the mosque. He has also served as an Imam and Khateeb at Al Sabil Mosque in Casablanca, where he has led prayers and delivered sermons. He is also an author, having written a notable book on Tajweed, titled “Al Hadidi’s Masterpiece about the Rules of Tajweed”. The book follows the Warsh An Nafi’ methodology, a recitation style widely practiced in North Africa. His dedication to teaching, his beautiful Quranic recitation, and his scholarly contributions have made him a respected figure in the world of Quranic studies.
