Abdallah Abdal, also known as Shaykh Abdallah Abdal Aziz Hartali al-Shafi’i, was a renowned scholar and Faqih. He is admired for his beautiful and soulful recitations. He served as the Imam of Masjid Al-Suweedi in Madinah, where his melodious voice and precise Tajweed inspired many worshippers. His recitations were filled with spirituality and peace, touching the hearts of Muslims across the world.

Beyond leading prayers, he actively took part in Quranic events and programs, spreading the beauty and message of the Quran. His dedication made him not only a respected reciter but also a source of guidance for many. He taught thousands of students and authored important works, including commentaries on Minhaj al-Talibin of Imam al-Nawawi, Fath al-Qarib of Imam al-Ghazi, and al-Aqidah al-Tahawiyyah of Imam al-Tahawi.

Sadly, he passed away on April 7, 2020, in Kurdistan, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge, piety, and devotion to the Quran.
