Abdul Bari Ath Thobaity is a prominent Quranic reciter and imam from Mecca, Saudi Arabia, born in 1960. His life has been full of remarkable achievements in the fields of Da’wah and voluntary work. At a young age, he memorized the Quran perfectly and became a Quran teacher, leading prayers at just 9 years old. By the age of 19, he won first place in the international Quran competition in Mecca. He has held important positions, including being the imam of the Masjid Haram for several years. Since 1994, he has served as the imam of Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi. Sheikh Abdul Bari holds advanced degrees in Shari’ah from Umm Al-Qura University and King Fahd University and has contributed greatly to Islamic education and charity work.
