Abdul Kabir Al Hadidi is a renowned Quran reciter, scholar, and imam from Morocco, admired for his deep knowledge of Tajweed and Quranic sciences. He was born on January 1, 1963, in Essaouira, Morocco, and later moved to Casablanca, where he memorized the Holy Quran. In recognition of his achievement, he received a certification from Casablanca’s Scientific Council in October 1992. He also holds a degree in Islamic Studies, which further strengthened his understanding of the Quran and its teachings.

For more than 20 years, he has served as an imam and khateeb at Al Sabil Mosque in Casablanca, where he has been teaching Quran recitation and Tajweed. His recitation is known for its melodious tone and clarity, following the Warsh an Nafi’ method, a popular style of recitation in North Africa.

He is also the founder of the educational project “Learn the Qur’an in Your Home,” an initiative designed to help people of all ages and backgrounds memorize the Quran, especially those who cannot regularly attend the mosque. In addition, he authored a well-known book titled “Al Hadidi’s Masterpiece about the Rules of Tajweed,” which explains the principles of Quran recitation according to the Warsh an Nafi’ methodology.

Together with Abdul Kabir Al Hadidi, other respected reciters like Omar Al Kazabri, Abdel Moujib Benkirane, Abdel Hamid Hssain, Hisham Al-Haraz, Abdel Rahman Benmoussa, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, Mahmood Ali Al Banna, Abdul Bari Mohammed, and Abbadi Houssem Eddine have also contributed to preserving and spreading the beauty of Quranic recitation throughout Morocco and beyond.
