Abdul Wali Al Arkani, also known as Abu Muad, is a renowned Quran reciter and imam from Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Born in 1983 in Mislafah, he memorized the Quran at the age of 14, first learning from his father and later studying under respected scholars such as Sheikh Harun Dahir, Sheikh Muhammad Kabir, and Sheikh Muhammad Idriss Abbas. He furthered his education at the Al Arqam Ibn Abu Al Arqam Institute in Masjid Al Haram, graduating in 1997. At just 13 years old, he led prayers for the first time at Sheikh Muhammad Saleh Jamal’s mosque in Mecca and later served as an imam in various mosques before moving to Jeddah, where he currently holds the position of Imam at the Khadem Al Haramein Al-Sharefein mosque. Due to his distinctive recitation style, he has been invited to lead prayers in various countries, including an invitation by the Governor of Ajman (UAE) to lead prayers alongside Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy. His Quranic recitations are widely broadcast on Islamic TV channels across Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain, and his audio and video recordings continue to inspire Muslims worldwide.
