Abdulaziz Az-Zahrani is a well-known Quran reciter and Imam from Saudi Arabia. His full name is Abdulaziz Bin Saleh Bin Ahmad Bin Muhammad Az-Zahrani. He was born in 1980 (1401 Hijri) in Jeddah and grew up in a Quranic family. His father, who was a Hafiz of the Holy Quran, played a major role in his upbringing and guided him in memorizing the entire Quran by the age of 15.

He began his journey as an Imam alongside his brother, Sheikh Abdulrahman Az-Zahrani, in a mosque supervised by their father. He later pursued higher education at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, studying in the Faculty of Literature and Humanitarian Studies. Along with his academic studies, he received Quranic training under the guidance of several respected teachers, including Sheikh Abdu Jawdah, Sheikh Mahmoud Faraj, Sheikh Abdul Kayoum Al-Sanadi, Sheikh Salim Az-Zahrani, and Sheikh Walid Al Mesbahi.

After completing his studies, he became both a Quran reciter and a preacher. He served as an Imam in Ibn Al Yamani Mosque and Al Subaie Mosque in Jeddah. He was later appointed as the Imam of Taraweeh prayers in the King Fahd Mosque, one of the most notable mosques in the city.

Abdulaziz Az-Zahrani is respected among many talented Quran reciters who have left their mark on the Muslim world, such as Mohamed Ayoub, Bandar Baleela, Yasser Abdullah Al Masri, Abdul Wadood Haneef, Talaat Afifi, Miqdam Al Hadary, Abdullah Matrood, Abdel Hamid Hssain, Nafiu Usman Bauchi, Osama Sobhy Hussein, Abu Abdullah Munir Al Tounsi, and Haitham Al Dakhin.

He primarily recites in the Hafs ‘an Asim narration, and his recordings are widely available in digital Quran archives. Many Muslims listen to his recitations for spiritual peace and guidance.
