Abdullah Al-Buraimi, whose full name is Abdullah Bin Abdul Karim Al-Buraimi Al-Zaraouni, is a renowned Quran reciter, Imam, and preacher from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He is admired for his sweet and captivating voice, which reflects deep emotion and sincerity in every verse he recites. His calm tone and soulful delivery have touched the hearts of countless listeners across the Arab and Islamic world.
Born on January 23, 1980, in the city of Al-Sharjah, he showed a deep connection with the Holy Quran from a young age. Over the years, he has dedicated his life to teaching, reciting, and spreading the message of Islam through his voice and scholarly work.
He holds a Master’s degree in Shari’a (Comparative Fiqh), which he obtained in 2010 with honors (Excellent). He also earned the Cambridge International Diploma in Information Technology Skills. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate in Shari’a at the International Islamic University (IIU) in Malaysia, further deepening his expertise in Islamic studies.
Throughout his career, he has served in several key positions within the UAE’s religious and educational institutions. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as the Acting Head of the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah. Between 2005 and 2006, he was responsible for the Imamate and Preachers’ branches in the same department. Since 2010, he has been serving as an Imam and preacher under the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf in Umm Al-Quwain, while also acting as the General Supervisor of the Quranic Memorization Centers in Awqaf Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi.
In addition to his administrative and educational work, he has gained recognition for his beautiful Quran recitations and inspiring sermons. His recordings are widely available online, allowing listeners to experience the tranquility and sweetness of his voice. He has also authored several publications in the Arab and Islamic world, contributing to Islamic education and scholarship.
