Abdullah Ibn Ali Basfar is a famous Quran reciter and imam from Saudi Arabia, Born in 1381 Hijrah. He gained fame in Jeddah during Ramadan Qur’an Recitation nights, with his recitations later broadcast on Quran radio stations and satellite TV channels. He is the President of the International Holy Quran Memorization Association, linked to the Muslim World League. He graduated from King Abdul Aziz University in 1406 Hijrah, later earning a Master’s degree in Fiqh and Usool from Umm al-Qura University in 1412 Hijrah and a doctorate in Fiqh in 1419 Hijrah. His efforts include assisting impoverished communities in Africa, delivering religious lectures, and writing books like Purification of the Soul. Abdullah continues to inspire Muslims globally with his dedication to the Quran and Islamic teachings.
