Abu Bakr Al-Shatri is a world-renowned Quranic reciter, admired for his soothing voice and heartfelt recitation. Born in 1970 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he is also known as Abi Abdarrahmane. He grew up in Jeddah, where he memorized the Quran at a young age and later graduated in Holy Quran Studies under Sheikh Aymane Rochdi Suwaid in 1996. He earned a master’s degree in accountancy four years later. Abu Bakr Al-Shatri has participated in numerous Islamic conferences, leading prayers in several prominent Saudi mosques, including Al Rajihi and Al Furkane Mosque in Hay Annassim, Jeddah, where he is currently the imam.
