Ahmad Khader Al-Tarabulsi, born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1947, is a highly respected Quran reciter of Lebanese origin who later became a Kuwaiti citizen. He is widely recognized for his mastery of Tajweed, his deep understanding of Quranic memorization, andcalm, spiritually moving recitation style.

He completed the Khatm Al-Quran in 1962 according to the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim narration and received high praise from Sheikh Mamoun Kitabi. He was also awarded a certificate in Islamic Studies from Dar Al-Quran in Kuwait, honoring his dedication to Quranic learning and teaching. His balanced tone and emotional delivery have made his recitations deeply loved by listeners and students alike.

Over the years, he has achieved outstanding success in several international Quran recitation competitions. He won first place in Malaysia (1986), second place in Iran (1995), and third place in India (2007). In 2010, he served as a judge in the International Kuwaiti Quran Competition, where he evaluated contestants in the categories of Tilawat and Tajweed.

Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first Kuwaiti Quran reciter to record a complete Quranic Khatmah in 1992, a milestone that helped spread Quranic recitation recordings across Kuwait and beyond.

Before fully dedicating his life to Quranic studies, he was also known for his athletic talent as a professional football goalkeeper, later becoming a coach for national teams, an impressive reflection of his versatility and discipline.
