Sheikh Al-Husayni Al-Azazi is a renowned Quran reciter from Egypt, born in 1956. In 1987, he received high certifications in Quranic recitations from Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and was also awarded a certificate in the “Ten Readings.” He later became a teacher of Quranic sciences and the Ten Readings at Qatar University, in the Faculty of Shari’a and Islamic Studies, before returning to serve at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
He has served as an Imam and preacher in several mosques in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has also been chosen as a judge for many Quran recitation competitions, thanks to his vast expertise. His contributions go beyond recitation, he is especially known for his Quran teaching recordings for children, using a “repeat after the Qari” style that helps young learners memorize and pronounce the Quran correctly.
