Ali Abdur Rahman Al-Huthaify was born in 1947 in Saudi Arabia and is a renowned Quranic reciter. He completed his early education in his village and later graduated in Law from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 1972. He earned both his master’s degree and Ph.D. in Islamic law from Al-Azhar University. In 1979, he became the Imam of the Quba Mosque, followed by being appointed as the imam of Masjid al-Nabawi in the same year. In 1981, he was honored to be the Imam of the Masjid al-Haram during Ramadan before returning to the Prophet’s Mosque. He has held various prestigious positions, including chairing the committee for printing the Quran. He is recognized for his work in Quranic recitation and has contributed significantly to the preservation and dissemination of the Quran.
