Hazza Al Balushi is a well-known Quran reciter from Liwa, Oman, born in 1995. He began memorizing the Quran at the age of 6 and completed it by 14, with strong encouragement from his father. His early Quran education took place in local mosques, where he was guided by experienced teachers in the art of recitation (Tajweed). Later, he traveled to Makkah and Madinah to perfect his recitation and received an excellent rating for his Quranic proficiency between 2012 and 2013.

His recitation style follows the Hafs ‘an ‘Asim narration and is known for its smooth, clear, and melodic tone—ideal for prayer and spiritual reflection. His beautiful Murattal style has touched hearts worldwide. In 2013, a recording of his recitation shared by a friend gained viral attention, launching his popularity across the Muslim world.

Since then, he has been invited to lead Taraweeh prayers in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Kuwait, the UAE, and Bahrain, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. He also studied Economics and Political Science at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman.
