Ibrahim Al-Jibreen (full name: Ibrahim bin Saad bin Abdullah Al-Jibreen) is a respected Quran reciter and imam from Saudi Arabia. He was born in 1392 AH (1972 CE) in Al Quwaiyah, west of Riyadh. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and successfully memorized the entire Quran during his school years. He later joined the College of Fundamentals of Religion (Usool al-Deen) at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies in 1419–1420 AH. He went on to complete his master’s degree, preparing a thesis titled “Aspirations in the Quran and Sunnah: Advantages and Disadvantages.”
He has led prayers in many well-known mosques, including: Ibn Qudamah Al-Maqdisi Mosque (1410 AH), Al Shuhadaa Mosque, Sheikh Ibn Al-Baaz Mosque in Shubra, Sheikh Abdul Razzaq Afifi Mosque (1426 AH) and Al-Amira Al-Anoud Mosque (1427 AH). Today, he continues to serve as an imam in Riyadh, while also dedicating time to Islamic studies and community activities. He is the head of the Dorob Group for Investment and is known for his clear, heartfelt Quran recitation that inspires listeners in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
Ibrahim Al-Jibreen is among several admired Quran reciters whose voices touch hearts worldwide, others include Abu Bakr Al-Shatri, Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Mohammed Al-Lohaidan, Yousuf Noorbhai, Tariq Abdul Gani Daawob, Sayed Ramadan, Hajjaj Ramadan Al Hindawi, Mohamed Osman Khan, Yasser Mamdouh, and Muhammad Taha Hindawi.
He is married and a proud father of four children. His dedication to spreading the message of the Quran and his commitment to both education and imamat have earned him respect and love among the Muslim community.
