Khalifa Al Tunaiji is a renowned Quran reciter, born in 1969, Sharjah. He memorized the entire Quran by the age of 13 at a Quran memorization center under the guidance of Sheikh Ghulam Hussain. Later, he traveled to Medina to refine his recitation skills with Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar at Masjid Al-Nabawi, earning Ijazah in Hafs, Warsh, and Qaloon readings. He has led prayers in prominent mosques, including the Grand Rashidiya Mosque in Dubai and Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Ajman. A graduate in civil engineering from the UAE University, He is currently the Head of the Housing Directorate and a member of Sharjah’s Executive Council. His recordings of the Quran and programs teaching children to recite are widely appreciated. He has gained significant recognition in international Quran competitions.
