Mohamed Mahmoud Tablawi, born November 14, 1934, in Met Oqba, Egypt, was a world-famous Quran reciter and Imam, admired for his golden voice and mastery of Tajweed. He began memorizing the Quran at the age of four and completed his Hifz by ten. In 1956, he earned a degree in Quranic recitation from Al-Azhar, marking the start of his lifelong service to the Quran.

With the support of great scholars like Sheikh Abd Al Fattah Al-Kadi and Sheikh Al-Ghazali, he joined Egyptian television in 1956, where his recitations reached millions. Known as the “Man with the Golden Voice,” he recited at many prestigious events, including the funerals of the Moroccan King Hassan II, the mother of the Jordanian King Al-Hussein, and Bassel, the son of Syrian President Hafez Al-Assad.
