Mohammad Ismaeel Al-Muqaddim is a respected Islamic scholar, preacher, and Quran reciter from Alexandria, Egypt, born on July 26, 1952. He first studied medicine at Alexandria University and later pursued Islamic studies at the Faculty of Sharia, Al-Azhar University. His strong background in both medicine and Islamic knowledge gave him a balanced and well-rounded approach to serving the community.
During his college years, he formed a group that promoted the teachings of Ahl us-Sunna wal-Jama’a, focusing on Islamic education and guidance. He later founded the Salafi School in Alexandria, which became a center of Islamic learning and included well-known preachers like Ahmed Farid and Yasser Borhamy.
He is admired for his clear and heartfelt Quran recitation, as well as his powerful lectures on Islamic principles, social issues, and the importance of following the Quran and Sunnah. His recitations are known for their precise Tajweed and emotional depth, inspiring Muslims worldwide.
