Muhammad Hassan is a respected Egyptian Quran reciter, scholar, and preacher. He was born in 1962 in a small village called Dmoh Dakahlia in Egypt, into a humble family rooted in Islamic tradition. From a young age, he showed a strong love for the Quran and Islamic knowledge. By the age of 8, under the guidance of Sheikh Misbah Mohammed Awad, he had memorized the entire Quran. Alongside this, he memorized many important texts such as Riyad as-Salihin, Al-Ajrumiyyah, and other works of Arabic poetry, language, and Islamic jurisprudence.

At just 13 years old, he began teaching and preaching in local mosques, inspiring people with his eloquence and knowledge. He continued his studies with Al-Azhar scholars while also pursuing modern education, earning a Bachelor’s in Information Science from Cairo University, followed by a Master’s in Islamic Studies. His thirst for knowledge led him to study under renowned scholars like Sheikh Ibn Jibreen, Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, and others. He later earned a PhD in Islamic Fiqh, further deepening his scholarly foundation.

He served as an imam in Saudi Arabia for several years, including at Arrijihi Mosque in Riyadh, where he also taught Hadith at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. Over time, he became an influential preacher, traveling internationally to deliver lectures and attend conferences in the U.S., Canada, and other countries. His speeches and recitations have touched many hearts, with some even embracing Islam after listening to him.

Muhammad Hassan belongs to a generation of remarkable Qur’an reciters who continue to inspire Muslims worldwide. Alongside him are Abdul Basit ‘Abd us-Samad, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Hussary, Mustafa Ismail, Muhammad Siddiq AL-Minshawi, Al-Husayni Al-Azazi, Ali Hajjaj Al Souissi, Mahmoud Abdel Hakam, Hassan Saleh, and Hajjaj Ramadan Al Hindawi, each recognized for their unique style and deep devotion to the Qur’an.

Today, he continues his mission as an imam and preacher in Al-Mansoura, Egypt, where he also serves as Chairman of the Sunnis Complex Management. He has authored numerous books, produced hundreds of lectures, and presented popular TV programs. Known for his powerful recitation, clear Tajweed, and impactful speeches, he remains one of the most influential Islamic scholars and preachers of modern times.
