Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi (1920- 1969) was a renowned Egyptian Quranic reciter known for his beautiful voice. Born in the village of Munsha’a in Sohag Governorate, he came from a family of Quran reciters, with his father Sheikh Siddiq Al-Minshawi also being notable reciter. He memorized the Quran by the age of 8 and studied Tajweed under Sheikh Ibrahim As-Su’udi. Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq was married twice and had 15 children. He traveled vastly to countries like Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Palestine, spreading the message of Islam through his recitations.
