Nabil Al Rifay, also known as Sheikh Nabil bin Abdul Rahim Rifay, is a well-known Quran reciter from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was born in 1978 (1398 AH) and raised in a family devoted to the Holy Qur’an. From a young age, he showed a deep love for the Quran and began his journey of memorization and recitation. He studied under respected scholars, including Sheikh Abdel Aziz Ramadan, Sheikh Abdel Wahab Hadiri, and the late Sheikh Ali Jaber. With their guidance, he perfected his Tajweed and developed a unique and heartfelt recitation style that has inspired many around the world.

In addition to his religious education, he pursued academic studies. He graduated from King Abdulaziz University with a degree in petrochemical engineering and later earned a master’s degree in human resources management. Despite his busy career as an engineer at Saudi Airlines, he continued to serve as an imam in various mosques across Jeddah.

He began leading Tarawih prayers in 1994 at the Baghdadi Mosque during Ramadan. Currently, he serves as the imam of Al Taqwa Mosque in Jeddah. His recitations are admired for their clarity and perfect application of Tajweed rules.
