Nasser Al Qatami is a well-known Quran reciter and imam from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, born in 1980 (1400 Hijri). He is admired across the Arab world and the Persian Gulf for his soft, emotional voice and precise Tajweed. He memorized the entire Quran at a young age and began leading prayers as an imam before the age of 14. Over the years, he has served in various mosques and is currently the imam and khatib at Princess Latifa Bint Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Mosque in Riyadh. He is married and has three children — two sons and a daughter.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Islamic studies and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in the same field. He was also honored with a doctorate degree from Al Hayat University in Cairo, Egypt. Throughout his journey, he was deeply influenced by great reciters such as Sheikh Bakri Tarabichi, Muhammad Ayyub, and Sheikh Mahmoud Soukar, whose styles helped shape his unique way of recitation.

In addition to his role as an imam, he is active in Islamic da’wah (preaching). He has participated in many Islamic conferences and events, both locally and internationally. His work includes audio recordings, books, and media appearances across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. He is also the co-founder of the Ayat Group, along with Sheikh Yasser Al Dosari. The group manages a Quran TV channel, a radio station, mobile apps, a Quranic research publishing house, and a recitation training center.
