Noreen Muhammad Siddiq born in 1982 in Umm Dam, North Kordofan, Sudan, was a renowned Quran reciter and imam. He began memorizing the Quran at the age of 17, under the guidance of Khalawi sheikhs in Bara district. He worked as an imam in several famous mosques in Khartoum, including the Khartoum Grand Mosque and Al-Nour Mosque. He represented Sudan in international Quran competitions, winning third place in Malaysia and Dubai and second place in Saudi Arabia at the King Abdulaziz Prize.
