Saad Al Ghamidi is a famous Quran reciter, born in 1967 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Known for his peaceful and emotional voice, he is admired by Muslims around the world. His style is often compared with other renowned Saudi reciters such as Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Mishary Rashid Alafasy, and Maher Al Mueaqly.

He memorized the entire Quran in 1990 and mastered the rules of Tajweed in the Hafs recitation style. He studied Islamic Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Al-Ahsa, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Usul ad-Din (Foundations of Religion). He also received the Al-Isnad certification, which allows him to teach the Quran through a trusted chain of narration. Like Saud Al-Shuraim, Yasser Al-Dosari and Ahmed Ibn Ali Al-Ajmy, his mastery in Tajweed and Qur’anic teaching has inspired many students.

In his early years, he was active in Quran memorization circles and Islamic summer programs. His career includes roles as a teacher, Islamic scholar, and school director. He has led prayers in various mosques, including during Ramadan at Masjid An-Nabawi in Madinah – one of the holiest mosques in Islam.

Currently, Saad Al Ghamdi is the imam of Yusuf Bin Ahmed Mosque in Dammam, where he continues to inspire worshippers with his heartfelt recitations. In 1985, he chose a Monchid (religious singer) career. His first tracks were very successful and earned him a wide recognition such as “Malakna Hadihi Donya Qorounan” and “Gharbane”.
